I created this band poster for Wallows. I started researching the band. The Wallows’ vibe is an blend of indie coolness, raw authenticity, and energy. It’s like stepping into a laid-back California garage jam session with a group of your closest friends. There’s a charm in their music, a seamless fusion of nostalgic rock elements with a modern, indie twist.

I started the project by picking the palette was like selecting the perfect outfit for their band. I wanted hues that would not only resonate with Wallows’ tunes but also reflect the energy they bring to the stage. I decided to go with earthy tones for the Wallows concert poster is a deliberate nod to the band’s grounded authenticity and timeless appeal, creating a visual warmth that mirrors the inviting and relatable nature of their music. 

I scoured through a sea of typefaces, trying to find the ones that could capture that fine line between edgy and cool. I started to lay everything out and I layered, using photoshop. It turned out great and i love all of the details that I included in it.
