The design process for Beachy Peach Swim and Surf was inspired by summer vibes and a passion for creating a brand that embodies the spirit of the season. My inspiration was everything summer represents – the warmth, the carefree attitude, and the joy of spending time by the water. Inspiration was drawn from the sunlit beaches, the playful energy of surf culture, and the vibrant colors that characterize the season.
The name “Beachy Peach” was chosen to evoke a sense of freshness and playfulness, and the concept of surf-inspired swimwear naturally emerged. The vision was to create a line of swimsuits that not only looked stylish but also felt like an embodiment of summer. Mood boards were created to refine the visual direction, ensuring that every aspect of the brand reflected the desired warmth and simplicity. While creating this logo I wanted to give simple vibes that mirror the laid-back feel of the brand.
The typographic choice gravitated towards a simple sans-serif font, and the logo, a two-toned masterpiece. Yearning to infuse more character, leaves were introduced, forming the iconic peach motif. This botanical addition transcended mere ornamentation—it became an emblem, an integral part of the brand’s identity. I wanted the logo to be the vibrant hue of peachy orange and a tone of sandy tan, a delicate balance capturing the very essence of sun-kissed shores and carefree summer days.
